1-year program
The Teacher Prep program at CV Tech is designed to give high school students an early start toward a career in education, whether as a future teacher or in support roles such as a paraprofessional. This one-year program introduces students to a variety of teaching careers and provides valuable hands-on experience through internships in local school classrooms.
Students have the opportunity to earn certification as a teacher’s aide and build a strong foundation for entry into a college-level teacher education program. The curriculum emphasizes both practical experience and career exploration within the field of education.

- 480 Hours – complete in one calendar school year
- Includes six-week internship in an area elementary school or middle school
- Structure lessons to maximize teaching
- See the practical side of teaching while preparing for a college education major
- Who is welcome? Future teachers, coaches, music educators and others (must be a Junior or Senior during the 23-24 school year)
