Canadian Valley Technology Center’s Chickasha Campus has been awarded a Silver Star of Excellence Award for its National Technical Honor Society student chapter.

The award recognizes schools who excel in career development, leadership, community service and recognition. Students benefitted this past year through resume development, a visit to the State Capitol, multiple service projects and a student-led NTHS induction ceremony.

Former HVAC student JaCori Britt said the focus on resumes and on preparing students in mock interviews had a significant impact on him as he recently prepared for interviews with potential employers. His endorsement was included in CV Tech’s Silver Star application.
