Foster children who move between placements are often given common household trash bags to transport belongings. CV Tech students involved in the school’s Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter want to ensure children have something of their own for this purpose.

A collection area will be set up inside the school’s main entrance from Jan. 6-30. Items include new and gently used backpacks, duffel bags and suitcases. The school will be closed for winter break until Jan. 6. The campus is located at 6505 E. Hwy. 66. Visitors should take the middle entrance off Historic Highway 66. Temporary visitor parking is available east of the entrance.

BPA is a student organization which encourages students to discover their passion and to create opportunities in learning, professional growth and service.
