Land surveying is among the oldest and most captivating professions known to mankind. It has roots dating back to the early civilizations and kingdoms, where it was used to establish land ownership through boundary records and to aid in the construction of renowned monuments. Essentially, land surveying plays a critical role in determining land ownership, facilitating land transactions, and is particularly vital to Cowan Group Engineering (CGE) within the civil engineering industry. Moreover, land surveyors uncover and weave a narrative around each project. At CGE, we recognize that surveying forms the cornerstone of every endeavor. Without survey, our work would not be possible. The role of Land Survey Team Lead is essential to our success. We invite you to join us in shaping your story as part of our team!
WHO WE ARE:
Cowan Group Engineering strives to put the client first, and that starts with our team of employees. Our team is highly valued, which you will experience firsthand when beginning a career with CGE. • Exhibit strong attention to detail.
• Display excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in marking points, boundaries, and reference markers on the ground to guide construction activities and ensure alignment with the project plans.
• Maintain accurate and organized field notes, sketches, and records of survey activities. This documentation is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the survey data.
• Keep surveying equipment clean, calibrated, and in good working condition to ensure accurate measurements and reliable results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working in the field. Maintain awareness of potential hazards and take necessary precautions.
