Aviation Maintenance Technology Student of the Year in 2009, Robin went to work as an airplane mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base. He is currently working on the Boeing E-3 Sentry, an AWACS surveillance aircraft based there. He quickly moved from starting pay of $15.50 an hour to more than $20 per hour with full benefits. “Canadian Valley really helped to prepare me for what I do for a living now,” he said. Robin recently bought a home near Tinker and is considering a future as an aircraft engineer.
