Enhance your basic knowledge of Genealogy with a greater emphasis in researching military, Native American, courthouse and land records.  Acquire a greater understanding of the National Archives and other resources specific to your family's history.  Learn about the importance of evidence and source citations in documentinf your research.  Some class time will be used as a practicum to help you overcome any questions you have on specific research items - using the methods and tools  you learned in Basic Genealogy.  Get an overview of a software genealogy program you can run on your PC at home to assist you in organizing your research tasks. Prerequisite: Basic Genealogy.  3 Ring Binder Required.
