Discover the world of emergency medicine as you learn critical lifesaving skills.  The Emergency Medical Technician - Basic will teach you CPR, basic airway management, anatomy and physiology, patient assessment and trauma-care management.  Spend clinical time working in an actual emergency room and riding with local EMS units responding to calls.  If you want to bew a Paramedic, this is whre you start!  Approved by OSDH-EMS Division.  Books required.  NOTE:  Some Saturdays required.

Prerequisites: High School Diploma/GED, immunizations (MMR, PPD, Td required 1 st day of class) and OSBI background check (name base, sex offender, & violent offender).
