This course is easily accessible to those who have never used Photoshop before and progresses through a solid intermediate skill level that will benefit even those who may already use Photoshop on a regular basis. This incredibly deep program is used for graphic and web design, image manipulation, photo restoration, digital illustration and even creating textures, lighting maps and bump maps for 3D modeling and animation.
Level 1 will create a solid understanding of Photoshop basics and terminology. Topics covered include: importing and file management, catalogs, tagging and albums; edit modes and photo enhancement basics - adjusting colors and blemish removal; basics of elements tools, palettes and menus; selection, brush and painting basics; re-sizing, cropping and saving files for print and web. Prerequisite: Proficient in Windows. Book required.
