This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and manage an adult in full arrest. Students will learn to manage respiratory emergencies, four types of cardiac arrest, four types of pre-arrest emergencies and stroke. All aspects of ACLS are covered including : Basic and Twelve-lead EKG interpretation, IV drip calculations, lab values, common drugs and more. Successful students will receive an AHA-ACLS Provider card. Book assignments and study time BEFORE class required.
